RainEduc

Students we are assisting

Did you know...

We are growing bigger!

The RainEduc China Program has
joined China Tomorrow Education Foundation
(CTEF, http://ctef.org)
to better support more students
in China.

We have already raised $1,530
plus $ 1200 from a campaign
inside Microsoft. This money
will come to CTEF's account
throughout the year 2010
and from there to the students.

CTEF us a Seattle-based
non-profit 501(c) (3)
organization with a mission
to improve the education
in rural China and prepare the
children to become responsible
global citizens by renovating
schools, establish libraries,
providing teaching
equipment, training teachers,
funding scholarships, and
promoting public
awareness
of rural China education
conditions.

By joining CTEF for the China
program, RainEduc can leverage
the strong brand of CTEF for
fund raising in the US, expand
operation in China and support
more students from rural China.

The RainEduc China Program
offers two types of programs:

1) The 1:1 sponsorship program:
Each donor selects a student to
form a sponsorship. The student
will keep the donor updated on
his/her progress in school.

2) The pooled scholarship
program: Donors donate to
the pooled fund as scholarship
to selected students.
The student will keep the
RainSourcer updated on
his/her progress in school.

You can send your donation to
the RainEduc China Program
through
two channels: 1)
through the
RainEduc website
at
http://raineduc.org or 2)
through CTEF at
http://ctef.org/OurProjects_sponsorship.asp

Our Mission

We help increase educational success among poor students in poor countries

We strongly believe that education helps release the human potential and strengthens the ability of the individual to take better care of oneself and others.

We also believe in multiplication

A number of the students we support will be inspired to find ways of extending support to those within their circle of influence. Our initiative will inspire others to invent their own ways of providing assistance to others.

Where we work

So far, RainEduc has supported students in India and China. However, we are considering to broaden our geographical scope to other countries/regions.
